The majority of our production is 100% two pack, a maximum of two shingles per row in a 20” wide frame. No other mills consistently produce shingles with this large size.
Some of our recent orders, in the areas of New England, Massachusetts, Connecticut and Vermont have shown the importance of this attention to quality. Our customers have reported that they were unable to find shingles with a good average size to match the quality of the existing structures, with shingles made in the 1950s to 1970s.
Some in this area have searched for months with dozens of suppliers and manufacturers, and the best they could find is 6 shingles of 10" width/bundle.
With our 100% 2 pack in a 20 inch wide packing frame you will find half of every bundle is 10 inches or more, that's 36 in every bundle, 6 times more than the best competitor.
